After a successful debut season in the WRC’s top tier, Munster has inked a new deal with the British squad to drive one of the two Ford Puma Rally1 cars.
Continued Success with M-Sport
Having showcased flashes of brilliance throughout his first full season in the top tier, Munster, who will celebrate his 26th birthday on Christmas Eve, expressed his excitement for the upcoming season. He will once again be paired with Belgian co-driver Louis Louka, with whom he formed a formidable partnership in 2024.
“I’m really looking forward to next year and to have the opportunity to drive the Puma again, especially in the good team structure and atmosphere at M-Sport,” Munster shared. “I’m happy to be continuing with Louis as well, with the aim to continue our progress in the top category, and improving from where we finished in 2024.”
Team Principal’s Optimism
M-Sport team principal Richard Millener echoed Munster’s sentiments, expressing his delight at the prospect of working with the talented duo for another season. Despite realistic expectations for the upcoming year, Millener believes in the potential of Munster and Louka to further excel in the WRC.
“They made some great progress over the course of their debut year, and although we must remain realistic with the goals and expectations for them in 2025, it is a great opportunity for them both,” Millener stated. “I am very happy to be working with them again for another full season and I believe they thoroughly deserve this opportunity.”
