Jamie Chadwick Named Rolex 24 Grand Marshal
Three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the upcoming 63rd annual Rolex 24 At Daytona, a prestigious honor bestowed upon her by Rolex.
Chadwick, a Testimonee for the renowned timepiece maker, will have the important responsibility of giving the command to start engines for the thrilling twice-around-the-clock race at Daytona. This announcement comes as a significant moment in Chadwick’s already illustrious racing career.
Impending Role and Racing Career
Expressing her excitement and gratitude, Chadwick shared, “It is an honor to be Grand Marshal of the Rolex 24 At Daytona and, as the spiritual home of Rolex and motorsport, I am looking forward to reflecting on the history, while watching some great racing. I’m excited to be involved and hope to join the line-up at Daytona in the future.”
Notably, Chadwick will also be competing in this year’s European Le Mans Series LMP2 class with IDEC Sport, a French team collaborating with Korean carmaker Genesis. This partnership is in preparation for IDEC Sport’s anticipated debut in the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar category in 2026.
Chadwick’s Racing Achievements and Contributions
Chadwick’s impressive resume includes winning the 2015 British GT Championship GT4 title before transitioning to a successful career in single-seaters. As a three-time W Series champion, she holds a unique position in the series’ history as the sole driver to secure the championship.
